Our fire hose paddles are a great balance between a paddle and flogger. These are similar to our regular fire hose paddles with 2 key differences: They have weights in them and are slightly shorter.

I fight the fire in my soul with the red weighted Fire Hose Paddle, and honestly, I think it is one of the coolest concepts The Kink Shop has ever come up with.
First, I had absolutely no idea this was made from an actual fire hose. For some reason I thought it was inspired by the concept, not literally constructed from the real material. When I realized it was genuine fire hose, I was genuinely blown away. There is something really fun about taking an everyday object and transforming it into something completely different. Like the Mop, which is one of the Pocket Toys.
I chose the weighted red version. The other colors are beautiful too, but for me red just felt classic. If you’re going to own a fire hose paddle, you can go with red, or you can select from purple or black.
The amount of thud this thing produces is astonishing. I weigh around 138 pounds on a normal day, and even relatively light strikes create deep rippling jiggles that are honestly difficult to describe unless you’ve experienced it yourself. The sensation doesn’t feel sharp or surface-level. It travels. It reverberates. It sinks inward like a strong punch.
I’ve found myself using everything from very light playful taps, which immediately echo through the body, to much hrder full-force swings depending on the mood. Those certainly get your attention, but the remarkable thing is how much sensation you get without needing excessive force.
Something funny is that I’ve even used the handle itself a few times. I mean… why not? It’s there. Even that feels nice.
What I love most about this paddle is that it occupies its own category. There are plenty of paddles. There are plenty of floggers. This somehow lives somewhere in between while still feeling entirely unique. If someone asked me to name an iconic item from The Kink Shop, this would immediately come to mind.
The construction is excellent. The handle feels secure, reliable, and surprisingly precise. I think that’s one of the hidden advantages of the weighted shorter version specifically. Despite how substantial the impact feels, it’s very easy to place strikes exactly where you want them. There’s another version that isn’t weighted, so there’s lots of hot possibilities.
I also appreciate that it doesn’t immediately announce itself as an adult product. Sitting in a room, most people would probably assume it’s some sort of film prop, industrial artifact, or decorative conversation piece rather than instantly understanding what it is.
If you’re someone who enjoys deep thuddy sensations, powerful body-shaking impact, or simply wants something unlike anything else in your collection, I would absolutely recommend giving this a try.
At its current price, it feels remarkably accessible for something this distinctive and well made.
I love it. In fact, part of me would like to pick up a second one someday simply because I can only imagine how gloriously overwhelming that experience would be.

This is a very heavy impact piece not for the faint of heart. TKS also has an unweighted hose, a little longer but with a satisfying thud and sound. I have both, but I prefer the lighter one at this point.

I love these shorter weighted fire hose paddles. Since they are weighted, it makes more of an accurate impact on every area that I am aiming for. It has a major thud sensation which my partner loves!
