As a preliminary matter, the BOA is imperfectly perfect. Just like me. Just like all of us. And I think that’s exactly what makes it beautiful.
One of the most fascinating things about this product is its origin. The leather used in other products doesn’t simply go to waste. Instead, many of those excess pieces find new life here. As a result, every BOA is a little different. Some have cuts (some more than others) and thus, no two are exactly alike.
When I first learned that, I didn’t like the product less—I wanted it more.
It reminds me of film production and prop design. Sometimes we intentionally weather an object to give it history, character, and presence. The BOA feels similar. It carries the story of the materials that came before it. In a strange way, it feels forged from other beautiful and sexy creations.
That’s what makes it special.
Every leather piece feels unique. Every BOA develops its own personality. There is something incredibly satisfying about owning something that cannot be perfectly duplicated.
I chose the orange and black version because orange has always been my favorite color, and I thought it would be perfect around Halloween. The color combination is stunning in person. The alternating leather creates a beautiful visual rhythm that immediately catches the eye.
And that leads into one of my favorite things about this product.
You don’t hide it.
In fact, hiding it feels wrong.
The BOA is one of those rare items that naturally starts conversations. It has presence. It has scale. It has personality. I find myself saying this often about products from The Kink Shop, but this feels less like a product and more like a piece of functional art.
Mine hangs in my room because it’s simply too beautiful not to display.
The moment you pick it up, you’re instantly aware of its presence. Whether you’re on the giving side or receiving side, there is something about the BOA that commands respect. The leather has substantial weight, creating a wonderfully deep thuddy sensation while still maintaining a playful elegance.
What surprised me most is that the product is wearable. You can genuinely wear it around your neck like an accessory, which adds an entirely different dimension to roleplay and presentation. That’s part of the magic. It doesn’t just function as a toy—it becomes part of the experience before anything even happens. If you wear it out, you’d be the fanciest person in town.
And if you really want to embrace the lust, the BOA includes a connector that allows it to attach to another BOA. Double the length. Double the movement. Double the spectacle.
As someone who is still relatively new to all of this, I found the sensation very approachable. It absolutely has substance behind it, but it remains comfortable and enjoyable to use. The leather creates a wide, satisfying impact without feeling overwhelming.
Oddly enough, the BOA reminds me of those enormous rotating cloth strips inside luxury car washes. I know that sounds random, but it has the same visual energy. The same flowing movement. The same larger-than-life presence. It’s impossible for me not to think about it every time I see it hanging there.
Overall, I adore this product.
There truly feels like a BOA for everyone. The orange and black version spoke to me immediately, but I can see the appeal of all the others as well. The pink version especially has a completely different personality—bright, playful, confident, and fun. It’s perfect for men and women alike.
I would absolutely love to see a Pride-inspired BOA someday.

‘The build quality is very good but the leather is much lighter in weight than the one I saw in person (a friend had one I don”t know who made it) so that was a let down Im not a small guy and I can swing it almost as hard as I want with mild reddening on the butt. It”s still a very fun and a great body warm up toy. just don”t expect any lasting “marks” ‘
